High profile Private Equity star Graham White decides to call it a day on private practice
On 30th March, fried Frank announced that Graham White, who joined the firm three years ago from rival Kirkland & Ellis, will retire from private practice. He will be succeeded by mark Mifsud who was recruited to the firm from Kirkland & Ellis by Mr. White just last year. So where will this leave the firm in the highly competitive London market?
“Graham White is a renowned and highly respected lawyer who has rebuilt Fried Frank’s European offering. He has been instrumental in focusing Fried Frank’s London business, as well as overseeing huge growth of the office in terms of both relocation and hiring. In a relatively short time. Changes are afoot under the management of Mark Mifsud, who it would seem was hand picked for the role by Graham himself. A Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes scenario, with huge shoes to fill.”
